About the RDK:
The Reichsbund der Kinderreichen (RDK or RdK), also known as the German Large Family League or literally the Reich’s League of Those Wealthy in Children, was one of the most significant pronatalist organizations in Germany founded after World War I. Membership required families to have at least four children, and widows were also eligible to join.
After the Nazi Party came to power in 1933, the German Large Family League was forcefully nazified, and its mission shifted to supporting the hereditarily healthy Aryan family. Its new goal became the preservation and promotion of the German Aryan family (Erhaltung und Förderung der deutschen, erbgesunden, arischen Familie), in line with Nazi racial and demographic policies.
