About the item:
Das ehrenbuch der SA, (Sturmhauptführer Karl W.H. Koch) Published in 1934 by Friedrich Floeder Verlag Düsseldorf. For its age the book is still in a good condition. Interesting book for the SA collector with lots of interesting pictures.
About the SA:
The Sturmabteilung (Storm Troopers) was the initial paramilitary group associated with Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Germany. It played a crucial role in Hitler’s ascent to power during the 1920s and early 1930s. Its main functions included safeguarding Nazi rallies and gatherings, disrupting meetings of rival parties, combating the paramilitary forces of opposing groups—particularly the Roter Frontkämpferbund of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) and the Reichsbanner Schwarz-Rot-Gold of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD)—and intimidating Romani people, trade union members, and especially Jews.
