About the Frauenschaft:

The National Socialist Women’s League (German: Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft, abbreviated NS-Frauenschaft) represented the official women’s wing of the Nazi Party (NSDAP). The party founded it in October 1931 by merging several nationalist and Nazi-aligned women’s groups. One of the key contributors was the German Women’s Order (Deutscher Frauenorden, DFO), active since 1926.

After its formation, the NSDAP Reich leadership took direct control of the League. The organization spread Nazi ideology among women, focusing on traditional roles in family and society. Guida Diehl, a prominent nationalist, served as the League’s first cultural spokesperson (Kulturreferentin) and helped shape its early direction.
