About the Faithful service medal:
The Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen für Beamte, Angestellte und Arbeiter) was established on January 30, 1938, by Nazi Germany to recognize long and loyal service by civilians in the public sector. The award was issued in two main classes and a special single class, and was primarily intended for employees in government and public service roles, though it was occasionally awarded to individuals in private industry.
This long service award symbolized the regime’s emphasis on loyalty, dedication, and continuity within the workforce. It served as a formal acknowledgment of individuals who had shown exceptional commitment to their professional duties over an extended period.
