About the Wochensprüche :
The Wochenspruch der NSDAP (“Weekly Quotation of the Nazi Party”) was a widely circulated propaganda poster series in Germany between 1937 and 1944. Each edition featured a quotation, usually from top Nazi officials, and aimed to reinforce party ideology.
Over 1,100 issues appeared during this period. The Reich Propaganda Directorate, along with local party organizations in each Gau (regional district), handled production and distribution.
Posters appeared in town halls, schools, workplaces, and shop windows across Germany. Their widespread presence helped the Nazi Party reach millions of citizens. By embedding propaganda into daily routines, the regime shaped public opinion throughout the Third Reich.
